Arriving
in Hakuba for a snowboarding holiday with some
mates in 2003 if someone told me I would be living
here in a few years time I would have thought, ”no
chance”. Move the clock forward to 2006 and I am
opening a hotel. Move the clock forward again to
2008 and I am out in the backcountry skiing with
Olympic champions Johnny Moseley and Takahiro
Sakamoto whilst they were filming the next Warren
Miller movie. I have exceeded even my wildest
dreams and I feel blessed to have found such a
beautiful part of the world. What will Hakuba do

Welcome to our hotels in the magnificent Japanese Alps. The home to legendary Japanese powder snow and big mountain skiing. I have been snowboarding in Hakuba since 2003 and I can truly say that I have found the snow lovers paradise. With 10 uncrowded resorts within half an hour from our hotel, we are able to give the best advice on which mountains to ski on each day. Whether it is super G lines on the perfectly groomed runs of Happo-One or massive rooster tails in bottomless powder at Tsugaike, the Hakuba valley is where you can find it all.
